April & May at the Riverbank Blog 1

Hi friends,

We are fairly new to this so bare with us for the first few blogs till we get to grips with it. Our blogs will be mostly our own original content with stories from the staff, whats going on around the hotel and different bits and bobs that might interest you guys.

We have been getting some great feedback over the last couple of months from our guests, our local friends and people who are new to the Riverbank. In January we topped TripAdvisor's list of Wexford town hotels coming in at no.1 and we are no.3 overall in the Wexford county list behind such prestigious hotels as Kellys & Monart. Want to say a big thank you to everyone your comments are very kind, all comments both positive and negative are welcome and we will continue to keep up the high standards of service we have set up for ourselves.

Every Thursday night from May 30th it will be BBQ night in the Riverbank garden. We will still be serving our normal evening menu's as well but we think as its summer and we SEEM to be getting sunshine at the moment what better way to relax on a Thursday evening than a good old fashioned BBQ overlooking our beautiful Wexford town.

We recently hosted a garden plant sales day by Robert Miller of Altamount gardens Co. Carlow. It was a great success with loads of people milling around checking out some of the beautiful cottage garden plant's on display. After a tough spring weather wise the sun graced us with its presence all day putting everyone in good form. Thanks to all who came and we hope you picked up a bargain on the day. Few snaps of the day.
